The year went by so quickly, too quickly by far. I hope it was a productive school year and the summer session is off to a good start. It appears that it will be a hot one this year. Please take all necessary precautions to keep the children cool and hydrated. Keep in mind that heat related emergencies can happen quickly in children and the elderly. Always used sunscreen lotion when taking the children out to the backyard or playground.
On a lighter note, I hope your programs' Moving Up ceremonies or Year End- Parties were great successes. For those programs that open year round, it is a good idea for both staff and children to have a break so that they can come back refresh and energized.
